The blades are made from old tools (a farrier's file, for example) reforged in the traditional way in an artisanal forge powered by charcoal and naturally ventilated. Its edge is finely sharpened while the rest of the blade is deliberately left "raw from the foundry," revealing the original shapes of the tool. This finish tells the story of the tool's transformation into its sharp second life.
The handle is patiently shaped from a piece of olive wood naturally dried for years.
With use, the edge of the blade will inevitably darken in places due to slight oxidation, giving it an even more rustic appearance. It must be sharpened regularly, dried systematically, and treated with olive oil to protect it. The handle must also be regularly oiled to accompany its aging and perfect its natural patina.
