Inspirées des parkas que portaient les pionniers de l'alpinisme et les explorateurs de la premiere partie du XXème siècle offrira malgré son look vintage une protection optimale aux intempéries grâce à sa toile coton déperlante Ventile® et sa doublure matelassée .
Le tissu Ventile® a été développé par une équipe de scientifiques dévoués de l'Institut Shirley de Manchester dans le but initial de remplacer les lances à incendie.
En 1939 L'Angleterre était en pleine guerre : les pilotes survolant l'Atlantique avaient besoin d'un vêtement à la fois confortable dans le cockpit et protecteur en cas de contact avec l'eau. C'est ainsi qu'est né le tissu Ventile®.
En 1953 Sir Edmund Hillary a atteint le point culminant du monde lors du premier sommet de l'Everest, vêtu d'un vêtement en tissu Ventile®.

Ventile® was developed by a dedicated team of scientists from the Shirley Institute in Manchester with the original intention of being a substitute material for the construction of fire-hoses.
1939 - Wartime England was in full swing, with pilots flying over the Atlantic in need of a garment that was both comfortable in the cockpit, but also protective should they hit the water. That’s where Ventile® fabric was born.
1953 ) Sir Edmund Hillary reached the world’s highest point on the first summit of Everest in a garment made of Ventile® fabric.
